Playlist for Professionals

Aimed at individuals working in healthcare and social care (such as GPs, nurses, NHS link workers, individuals from small care homes, etc.), our professional course explains the benefits of using personalised playlists to support those living with dementia by building and integrating playlists into your work.

Duration

  • 2 x 120 minute webinars with group activities and opportunities to try techniques with fellow learners and our expert trainers
  • Work through online course content at your own pace

I must pay tribute to the pioneering work of the charity Playlist for Life. Their work creating personal playlists for people with dementia led to a in the need for psychotropic medication at one care home. This is the kind of cheap, easy-to-use social prescription that I'm fully behind.

Matt Hancock
MP, Secretary of State for Health & Social Care
