Use of Playlist for Life Resources and Branding

This course is open to professionals working in health and social care settings who wish to broaden their practice through the use of personalised music. Trainees are encouraged to use and adapt the learning within their own professional roles. However, completing the course does not provide a licence to deliver Playlist for Life-branded sessions, offer services based solely on the Playlist for Life model or resources, use Playlist for Life branding, or train other professionals in the Playlist for Life approach.

You may use your learning and free resources for families within your work but examples of activities that are not permitted include:

  • Advertising yourself as a Playlist for Life practitioner, trainer, consultant or volunteer.
  • Charging individuals, families or organisations for a service that is marketed as a Playlist for Life service.
  • Delivering paid for Playlist for Life branded workshops, groups or training sessions.
  • Creating and selling a dementia music service based solely or predominantly Playlist for Life training, methods or materials.
  • Training colleagues or other health and social care professionals on behalf of Playlist for Life.

Trainees may, however, draw on the learning from this course as part of their wider professional practice and use personalised music approaches to enhance the support they provide in their existing roles.
